New Hope Partnership

  Northern Fox Valley

  Sycamore Project

The New Hope partnership is part of Habitat for Humanity of Northern Fox Valley and currently consists of nine Elgin/Dundee/Huntley area churches.  Our steering committee is made up of representatives from these churches and meets monthly.  We raise funds through donations and various fund raising efforts to build one Habitat for Humanity house per year.

New Hope has built 5 Habitat for Humanity homes.  The first house in Carpentersville was completed in 1998, the second home in Carpentersville in 2000, the third home in Carpentersville in 2002, the fourth home in Carpentersville in 2003 and the fifth home in Elgin in 2006.    Labor at the work site was performed almost entirely by volunteers from our member churches.  Most work at the sites is performed on weekends but various tasks are also accomplished during the week.

For more information or to have your church become part of our partnership, contact the Northern Fox Valley office at 847 836 1432.
