Home Owner Orientation Meeting

If you want to own your own home and can't afford a conventional mortgage, you may qualify for our program.  To learn about becoming a Habitat for Humanity Homeowner, you must attend one of our orientations.  Our next meeting will be on Saturday August 7th at 10:00AM at ReStore.  ReStore is located at 8oo N. State in Elgin.  State is Route 31, ReStore is about 1 mile south of I-90 on Route 31.  Space is limited so call our office, 847-836 -1432 or click here to e-mail our volunteer coordinator and we will add you to our invitation list for the meeting. 

Spring Walk-a-Thon..2010

Our 2010 Walk-a-Thon took place on Feb 27, and we set a record for attendance.  We had over 200 walkers from various area schools.  Quite an accomplishment for early on a Saturday.  Stay tuned as we go through  the donations and find our 2010 winner.

Or if you want to plan a strategy to win our 2011 event, the date will be Feb. 26,2011.  And all you need to do is register with us, have your group sign in, grab a shirt and walk the mall!
